I didn’t blog this wedding sooner, because I haven’t been able to find the words to describe an incredible 3 day road trip to West Virginia for a family wedding in the mountains. My cousin Frankie and his bride Skyla have been a family for years, and back in October they stood among the rapids and made it official. Some flowers, feathers, a million trees, a day’s worth of too much rain, and more bottles of moonshine than I could count. No wonder I couldn’t put it onto words any sooner : )

I spent this past weekend in the hills of the Hudson Valley, and on this May afternoon the air felt more like a crisp autumn day. Despite the threat of rain, Steven and Krystal’s friends and family filled the lawn of The Hill with the most love and happiness you could hope for on a wedding day. If I learned one thing this weekend, it’s that New York’s finest know how to throw one hell of a party : )
