Personal Brand Sessions Are Here

For most of us, 2020 has brought with it some changes that are larger than life. We’re living, working, and communicating in new and unfamiliar ways, and figuring it all out as we move forward. On top of that, some of us are doing this while running a small business! If this includes you, I’m sending over a virtual high five.

I know what putting your heart and soul into your passion looks like. I’ve been lucky enough to work with a handful of small businesses, non profits, and entrepreneurs over the past few years, and the one thing I’ve heard this year more than any other is that they need pictures that show the story behind their brand.

I want to help you show up bigger and better than ever before. Personal brand photography puts a name to the type of photo session that gets you the images you actually need. Photos that showcase your process, that create momentum and conversation, and that turn social media caption writing into an easy task.

A personal brand photo session gives you a set of curated images for daily use on social media, on your website, and for use in any other way that you see fit. These pictures are yours to use freely, no photo credit required.

If you’re spending around 30 minutes planning and creating a single image for social media each day, this translates to 45 hours per quarter. In my experience, most small business owners would rather be spending that time doing what they do best!

What a PBP Session Looks Like

In the weeks leading up to your shoot, we’ll take a few organizing measures such as creating a day-of schedule including travel to any secondary locations. Planning to utilize more than one setting is a great way to add variety to your image set, and to make these pictures more widely usable on social media.

I’m happy to make location recommendations such as particular outdoor settings, picturesque air bnb’s, coffee shops, or other locations that complement your aesthetic.

On the day of your shoot, we’ll focus on making portraits, taking detail shots, and telling stories using environmental images, all while keeping your message and personality at the forefront. We’ll include location changes and look changes as may be appropriate. There is *so* much more than I can write about that goes into this day, all of which I’m happy to chat about once we connect!

After your shoot you’ll receive 90 delivered images, which translates to 3 months worth of daily content. These pictures may be used online as your own, meaning there is no need for photo credit. You can crop, filter, or brand them as needed.

Images are delivered in high resolution via an online gallery, which you can access from anywhere using the app. You can restrict permissions an keep viewing private, or share the gallery with your team members so they can use and post freely from any device.

Lastly, actually using your images may be the most important part of the process! After you have your pictures in hand, I’ll send over a PDF guide that I’ve created which includes tips on how to get the most life and longevity out of your photo set.

PLAN ONE

We’ll start with a 1 on 1 discovery video chat where we can talk about your brand, and discuss the direction in which you're headed. Based on our conversation during this call, I’ll curate a play by play day-of timeline, and a shot list unique to your aesthetic, which will facilitate a smooth and intentional photo shoot.

Having this plan is a great first step that ensures your session is headed in the right direction. My years in the industry have given me the experience to know how best to deliver content that you need.

You have ideas, and you need the right photographer to help them come to life. You prefer to devise your own day-of shot list and timeline, and to create your own plan of action. We'll connect through email along the way to work out any details!
